Beating The Arizona Heat With Window Tinting
If there’s one thing residents of Arizona know and understand very well it’s that no matter what time of year it is, the temperatures in this state can cause some extreme heat waves. This is especially true on most summer days. According to average recorded temperatures, gathered since 1981, nearly every day during the summer in Phoenix tops 99° Fahrenheit. For June, the average high temperature is around 104° Fahrenheit while the low is 77° Fahrenheit. With that being said, you can imagine that energy savings of any kind would be highly important in this state. Luckily, FormulaOne by AES was able to help out one resident with some much needed window tinting!
For the project we’re talking about, the homeowner’s number one concern was obviously energy savings. That was an easy fix with some of FormulaOne’s residential window tinting film. This slightly darkened film is able to reject heat up to 83%, depending on the time of the year. What the homeowner may not have realized until later on is that the window tinting film also offered a few other benefits.
This particular home was situated right next to the mountains, providing what should have been the most lovely view of the outdoor scenery. The problem when trying to peer out of the window at the mountainous horizon in the near distance was that the sun’s harsh glare was so bright it nearly blinded the homeowner from seeing anything! Now, with the addition of the window tinting film the homeowner can enjoy looking out of the window at the beautiful space outside without straining their eyes.
In addition to the film keeping the glaring sunlight from streaming in, the film protects carpet, flooring, and furniture with 99.9% Ultraviolet Ray rejection.
At FormulaOne by AES we fix problems like these every day and we’d love to help you with your next project. To contact us give us a call at 405-513-6400.
