Privacy Window Film For Shower Doors And Windows

The Frosted Glass Look With Window Film

Do you have a plain glass shower door? This can certainly be uncomfortable for some when taking a shower, even if you suspect that no one will barge in on you. What about a window in your shower? Believe it or not this is common in a lot of older homes. Either way privacy window film is the perfect solution to both of these issues.

You may have figured that the plain glass shower door was a cheaper option to start with, but it sure doesn’t do much for privacy. On the other hand, windows being in the shower might make sense if you’re trying to let out some steam and prevent mold from building up, but they also don’t do much for privacy. After all, you just never know whether your neighbors will see more than you ever wanted them to see.

If you’re wondering which window film would be best to use for privacy we’ll tell you that a popular choice is the frosted glass look. If you’re trying to be frugal window film is a wonderful option to achieve this look. Not only is it much cheaper than replacing your current shower door or window, but the application can be done in a very short time.

This solution is particularly great for those busy times when you’re showering and you have someone else in the family that needs to be getting ready in the morning. You can maintain a level of privacy while allowing them to continue about their business.

Are you ready to upgrade your plain shower door or window with privacy window film? Perhaps you have another area you’d like covered? No matter what you’re request, we’d love to help you out! LLumar Window Film UV Shield For Trophy Case

Protecting Trophies With Window Film

When you work so hard every day for something and you receive an award, it’s hard not to want to show it off and be proud. It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity, an employee of the month, or you work somewhere that receives awards based on the amount of team effort put forth as everyone can appreciate a trophy. With that being said, if you have a display case to put your trophies in wouldn’t you want to protect that case so that your trophies look as nice as the day you first received them? If so, you’re in luck, because with LLumar window film a project like this is possible!

One of FormulaOne’s past projects, in fact, involved wrapping a glass trophy case with window film at American Fidelity Assurance Company. By adding this window film to the glass it made it possible to eliminate most of the glare and heat from the sun shining through the building’s large glass windows. At the same time that the LLumar window film protects the glass trophy case to in turn protect the trophies placed inside, it also allows for clear visibility from the outside.

This is especially important for a company such as American Fidelity Assurance Company, because they thrive on making a difference and maintaining a great reputation and being able to show off their achievements only adds to their ongoing efforts. Everyone who walks by the large trophy case can peer inside and enjoy seeing the trophies inside, but they don’t have the harsh glare of the sun reflecting back at them or blinding them in the eyes. To keep up with the clean, sharp, ultra modern feel of the office there was no better option.

If you have a glass area that you’d like to be protected from ultraviolet rays, FormulaOne By AES would love the opportunity to make it happen for you. We can be reached at 405-513-6400 or you can contact us online by clicking here.

Vista Window Film Used On Bobby Vinton Blue Velvet Theatre

A Case Study: Dayview V45 Window Film

Branson, Missouri is home to live shows, fun attractions, and exciting excursions for visitors to enjoy. One of the most well-known buildings hosting entertainment for over three million visitors per year is the Bobby Vinton Blue Velvet Theatre. The owner, Bobby Vinton, knew that he had a difficult problem with heat, glare, and fading furnishings inside. As visitors increased over the years the solution of adding window film started to become clear as the owners knew they had to provide a more comfortable, glare-free environment.

There are many types of window film, so it took some careful analysis to determine that the best solution would be the series called Vista Dayview V45. This window film allowed for control of the sunlight which would pour into the theatre without compromising the beauty of the building in any way. The awesome part about this window film addition is that it became a part of the building’s arched windows in 1996 and it’s still going strong!

The installation of the Vista Dayview V45 window film was reported to do the following:

  • Immediately reject 45% of total solar energy
  • Reduced light transmission by 54%
  • Decreased the ultraviolet rays by 99%

Since ultraviolet rays are the main reason for fading floor coverings, interior furnishings, and artwork this transformation meant a lot! Bobby Vinton himself quoted “I could not have arrived at a better solution. My Theatre is now comfortable throughout. Moreover, the film has virtually taken away all the glare from reflecting sunlight and is helping to protect our furnishings and the gift shop merchandise from fading.”

How awesome is that? Do you have a home, office, or precious building that you’d like to preserve with the help of window tinting? FormulaOne by AES is local, we used Vista window film and we offer a lifetime transferable manufacturer’s warranty, too!

Were you aware that a large majority of the country’s most remarkable and well-known buildings have windows that were reinforced with Vista solar control window film? Amazingly enough this window film has been proven to stop as much as 75% of the sun’s heat, reducing costly heating and cooling bills. Also, after a detailed study about the environment, Vista solar window film (Vista® VS70) was determined to be the best solution for the Frank Lloyd Wright Louis Penfield House located in Willoughby, Ohio.

Frank Lloyd Wright designed with the intention of creating harmony with the environment and we believe that the Vista window film only helps to preserve this architecture. This particular window film was designed to allow sunlight to shine brightly through the beautiful glass, allowing the light to pour in on the lovely interior while simultaneously keeping the furniture, rugs, and décor from fading.

As the window film works to keep the heat of the sun’s rays out of the Frank Lloyd Wright home, it also allows for an unimpeded view to the outside world around it. Window Film For Energy Savings This Winter

Get Your Estimate On EnerLogic Window Film

Over the last few years more companies have joined the “going green” craze taking action towards conserving energy while preserving the needs of basic human needs. In today’s architectural designs of newer buildings you’ll often see the incorporation of many windows for bringing in a lot of natural light, a necessary aspect of life. The only downside to all these windows is that the heat levels either rise in summer or escape in winter, making the company spend more to keep the working environment comfortable. This is counterproductive to their plan to be “green” in the first place. Luckily, companies like EnerLogic have come up with a practical window film solution.

EnerLogic has worked for the past 18 years to develop the best window film that provides an energy solution without sacrificing light. This wonderful window film allows the natural light to come in while blocking the harsh UV rays which is the heat we don’t see, but feel. In the winter time it works to contain the heat from the building preventing the need to switch on the heater too much.

Building managers are excited to see the amount energy savings! In fact, EnerLogic talks about one project where the company was able to saved 15 million dollars on using the EnerLogic window film product rather than having to have complete window replacement. This savings is thanks to the fact that they didn’t have to remove any scaffolding from the building or reconstruct anything in order to apply the window film.

With just windows blinds alone, you still have to worry about the glare of the sun at certain times of the day. Imagine being able to control the light streaming in without the harsh glare on computer screens. Having this capability allows commercial business workers to be more productive!

Ready to start seeing energy savings this winter? To get your estimate on EnerLogic window film, please feel free to give FormulaOne by AES a call at 405-513-6400.

Frosted Glass Window Film

Get The Frosted Glass Look With Window Film

Use Window Film Rather Than Replace Your Glass

A lot of spaces have areas where glass windows or doors are part of the design. In some cases it’s perfectly fine to have the clear, wide open feel of plain glass. In other cases, the home or office just looks too boring with plain glass and it needs a little sprucing up. In cases such as these, frosted glass has been a choice among many designers. In fact, frosted glass can be found in many realms including minimalism, hi-tech, and modern trends. This can be for both privacy and aesthetics. Guess what? You can actually achieve this stylish, frosted glass look with window film.

Usually, frosted glass is created in one of two ways. The first way consists of acid-etching clear sheets of glass for a smoother finish. The other way to achieve a similar look is by sandblasting the glass with actual sand, walnut husks or other materials which creates an interesting design effect. With window film you can see a smooth, white hue to the surface of the glass, just like etching would.

So, if you’ve been thinking about ditching your old, plain glass doors or windows and purchasing all new ones, save yourself some money. Updating your old glass with frosted window film is much easier than total replacement. Our window film process will allow your space to have the distinctive, satin-like appearance for less work.

Additional colored window film designs can also be added, if desired. The frosted glass window film can be great for windows or doors that are facing the outside, are inside an office, or are in a home. If you’re interested in achieving the frosted glass look with window film, FormulaOne is available to help you do just that!
