Frosted Window Tinting

Various Shades Of Frosted Color Blocking Window Tinting Film

Privacy Meets Decorative In This Window Tinting Project

The white frost look has become quite popular for privacy purposes in many different offices. It’s not uncommon to see white frost window tinting film being used between cubicles that have glass windows separating them or for doors with glass windows leading to an office. Today, our FormulaOne by AES team is showing how various shades of frosted window tinting film can be utilized to create a unique design.

What’s great about the darker frost is that it allows for a bit of privacy and by mixing it up with the lighter window tinting film the office door’s window looks a lot more glamourous. This color blocking effect is affordable, functional, and also decorative. As you can see in both the cover photo of this article and the full size photo below, the sections of frosted window tinting film have been perfectly placed to create a symmetrical look on both sides.

White Frost Color Blocking

Colorful Decorative Window Tinting

Custom Shaped Decorative Window Tinting

Colorful Circular Window Tinting Film

We feel that there’s something simply intriguing about windows that aren’t the standard rectangular or square shape. It seems that many designers are taking a more artistic approach and finding inspiration for many different shaped windows. These custom shaped windows are certainly a great way to add a unique architectural look to your home, office, or commercial building. Today, we’re showcasing a circular window, because colorful decorative window tinting is even better than a plain circular window!

FormulaOne by AES was challenged with this particular project to provide custom shaped decorative window tinting in multiple colors. The project took time to create the custom circular shape with perfect precision. Next, the window tinting film had to be perfectly placed to avoid bubbles and since it was on the ceiling, it was a fun project to complete. As with any project, this film was cut exactly to fit every inch of the glass.

The design choice by the owners certainly made for a superb option for making their circular window look even more stylish. As you can see in the photo, the semi-transparent colored window tinting film mimics a stained glass appearance in that it can still allow natural light to flow in with an array of colors!

FormulaOne by AES has had a few projects involving the decorative window tinting as it has become quite popular. So, if you are looking for a colorful window tinting option to go with your unique shaped windows or you would like to learn more about our selection, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Our team members are fully trained and provide high-quality applications to complement and enhance any area of your home, office, or commercial building.

Office Space- White Frost Window Tinting

White Frost Privacy Window Tinting For An Office Within An Office

Creating A Private Space With Window Tinting Film

It’s a common concept to see sectioned off office spaces within a larger office complex, but for the person working inside of one of these office rooms walled with glass it can be a little difficult to truly have a private working space. Closing the door doesn’t do much good when other employees walking by can simply peer into the open glass and see you sitting at your desk. Not to mention, if you deal with customers they might appreciate a little more privacy while you’re handling their affairs. A perfect solution to this little problem is the installation of privacy window tinting film.

White frost window tinting film, to be precise, is fast becoming one of the most popular options for commercial building spaces when privacy is in question. The white frost window tinting film is wonderful as it provides an affordable, functional, and decorative way to easily separate two spaces. As you can see in the cover photo of this article, no one is going to be seeing inside this small office thanks to the perfectly placed white frost film. This example case study made the office worker very happy, indeed!

If you have an office within an office and the blank windows are causing you to feel overly exposed in your work station, we encourage you to consider white frost window tinting.

If by chance the frosted glass design is, in fact, something you are interested in achieving, FormulaOne by AES would be more than happy to help you do just that! We can have your project completed in a very short, allowing you to get back to work in privacy.

Chesapeake- Window Tinting

Commercial Window Tinting For Chesapeake

An Energy Saving Window Tinting For An Energy Company

What is the first word you think about when you hear or see the company name Chesapeake? Hopefully, your answer was “energy”. Did you know that Chesapeake Energy has a goal to maintain the health and safety of their employees, owners, the environment and the public? With that being said it makes sense that this energy company would want to focus on providing safety and energy savings any way possible, including via the utilization of commercial window tinting.

Now you may be thinking “how does this provide safety and energy savings?” Let us explain a little bit more about the decision that Chesapeake made to have FormulaOne By AES apply window tinting to one of their buildings.

The fact is that LLumar window tinting film can help generate energy savings as high as 15% for commercial property owners. It also helps to eliminate hot and cold spots in the office and provides a protective barrier from outside viewers for the privacy of the office tenants. Additionally, the dark tint prevents sun damage to the interior furniture, flooring, and sensitive electronics. These are all good reasons why Chesapeake has chosen to utilize window tinting film.

Aside from protection, window tinting such as the LLumar film used for Chesapeake’s building also helps to give the exterior of the building an updated appearance without changing the overall structure of the building and without having to replace the existing glass.

The truth is that LLumar window tinting film has been enhancing many well-known buildings around the world for decades!

Do you have a commercial building that you’d like to protect? If you’re looking for any sort of window film, please feel free to give FormulaOne by AES a call for your next project. We can do residential projects, as well. We can be reached at 405-513-6400.

Frosted Glass Window Film

Use Window Film Rather Than Replace Your Glass

A lot of spaces have areas where glass windows or doors are part of the design. In some cases it’s perfectly fine to have the clear, wide open feel of plain glass. In other cases, the home or office just looks too boring with plain glass and it needs a little sprucing up. In cases such as these, frosted glass has been a choice among many designers. In fact, frosted glass can be found in many realms including minimalism, hi-tech, and modern trends. This can be for both privacy and aesthetics. Guess what? You can actually achieve this stylish, frosted glass look with window film.

Usually, frosted glass is created in one of two ways. The first way consists of acid-etching clear sheets of glass for a smoother finish. The other way to achieve a similar look is by sandblasting the glass with actual sand, walnut husks or other materials which creates an interesting design effect. With window film you can see a smooth, white hue to the surface of the glass, just like etching would.

So, if you’ve been thinking about ditching your old, plain glass doors or windows and purchasing all new ones, save yourself some money. Updating your old glass with frosted window film is much easier than total replacement. Our window film process will allow your space to have the distinctive, satin-like appearance for less work.

Additional colored window film designs can also be added, if desired. The frosted glass window film can be great for windows or doors that are facing the outside, are inside an office, or are in a home. If you’re interested in achieving the frosted glass look with window film, FormulaOne is available to help you do just that!

Please feel free to give us a call for your next frosted glass project. We can be reached at 405-513-6400.

Customizing Homes Or Offices With Window Tinting

Today we’re going to talk about how you can have a unique artwork style windows in your home or office by using window tinting in your next custom project. A lot of home and office owners love the idea of having stained glass, but they don’t want to pay the price for traditional stained glass. The look of colored glass is becoming popular again and we’ve done many projects with window tinting to give people what they want without the hassle.

Usually stained glass has been colored by adding metallic salts during its manufacture. The glass is crafted into stained glass windows in which small pieces of glass are arranged to form patterns or pictures. If you don’t want a design, but you’d like to have blocks of colored windows for an aesthetically pleasing view, then window tinting is a much simpler and better way to go!

Some people like our traditional window tinting options, but the colorful window tinting offers something that can be everything from masculine to striking and beautiful. What makes window tinting so adaptable for many design elements is that it can vary in color, so if you want bright red, blue, and yellow then that’s not a problem! The best part about customizing homes or offices with colored window tinting is that the windows can be any shape or size. That being said, you don’t have to worry that your unique window shapes will have to be left blank.

If you don’t have a designers eye and you just can’t decide which colors would be best, we may be able to help you decide what would be best for your windows. One thing is for sure, our 41 years of experience will ensure a quality installation!
