Breakfast Nook-Window Tinting

A Breakfast Nook Transformation With Window Tinting

Maintaining The Beautiful View With Window Tinting

Sometimes, people fall in love with a space, such as a beautiful breakfast nook, because the view to the outside world is outstanding. That doesn’t mean; however, that they always want to feel the harsh sun beating down on their backs or that the people sitting opposite them will desire to squint their eyes to avoid being blinded. What’s a person to do if they don’t want to obstruct their beautiful view? You may be surprised by the wonderful transformation from bare glass windows to glass covered in window tinting!

Today, our team at FormulaOne by AES wanted to highlight an idea for a project involving a breakfast nook just like the one in the picture. The wonderful part about many of our residential window tinting films is that they reduce heat by 34% to 83%. Additionally, the film helps to reduce glare from the sun and reducing the fading of furniture inside. This is all possible without having a mirrored or dark look to the film.

Imagine the difference from sitting in a place with an overload of sunlight to suddenly being able to enjoy sitting down in that breakfast nook. When the window tinting is applied the space becomes a comfortable spot that people would actually want to gather in for dining purposes. The film still would allow for plenty of sunlight to enter the space, but without the harmful ultraviolet rays.

No matter which room you would like to transform, window tinting makes a great choice for doing so as there are options for many different design styles! If you have a breakfast nook, a kitchen window, or another place in your home that you’d like to makeover we’d be happy to help. You can call FormulaOne by AES at 405-513-6400 to get started on your next project.

Barrios- Window Tinting

Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes Chooses White Frost Window Tinting

Window Tinting Provides Privacy For The Chefs

No good magician ever reveals their secrets with the audience, because then who would be awed by the show, right? Under the same premise, every chef deserves the right to guard their precious recipes and have a private kitchen area to work in so as to create the best dishes possible for foodies to continue marveling over. This was a very good reason, indeed, for the owner of Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes (in Midtown OKC) to choose white frost window tinting for their kitchen windows.

Just as the culinary team members of Barrios Fine Mexican Dishes are passionate about making mexican food, FormulaOne by AES is passionate about making the design desires of our customers a reality; therefore, we hopped on the opportunity to do just that!

When the owner of the restaurant wanted a window tinting film that would increase privacy, mimic a decorative specialty glass, and diffuse harsh sunlight from pouring throughout the kitchen we immediately knew the answer to fulfill all of these requests was Llumar’s white frost.

The best part about the application of the window tinting film is that it didn’t take too much time to complete, allowing the restaurant to continue operating. Furthermore, the decorative window tinting film was most definitely a cheaper alternative to complete window replacement and achieved the same look and feel as a high-quality frosted glass. Lastly, just diffusing harsh ultraviolet rays doesn’t mean that there will be no light at all! All this means is that the interior, the chefs, and the objects inside will be protected while still allowing a proper amount of light to filter inside.

Do you have a project you would like to discuss with us? We’d certainly love to help you realize the benefits of window tinting whether that be purely for decorative purposes or for safety reasons! To get started, give FormulaOne a call at 405-513-6400.

Sprucing Up A Church With Window Tinting

Out With The Old And In With The New Window Tinting

As with many other things in life it is an understatement to say that not all window tinting brands are created equally. The truth is that department store brands and lower quality window tinting films aren’t going to last nearly as long as a high quality manufactured products. Luckily, FormulaOne by AES is all about educating and providing our customers with the highest quality products available.

St. Monica Catholic Church in Edmond, OK learned the reality that after some time lower quality brands of window tinting materials lose their ability to hold up under the harsh ultraviolet rays and elements such as rain, snow, and heat. This was evidenced by their old window film which had started to crack and peel, as seen in the above before picture.

Just like Superman coming in to save the day, FormulaOne swooped in to help out! Our team assembled at the church and worked tirelessly to carefully scrape off every last remaining piece of the old window tinting film. This process involved cutting off sections of the tint with a razor blade and making sure to get through the layers without damaging the glass underneath. Then, we proceeded to apply a lovely, new LLumar window film. This particular job consisted of applying a white frost window tinting.

As you can see from the photos, sunlight can still enter through the windows, but now the church’s interior is protected from glares, heat, and ultraviolet rays. The outside appearance of the windows has inevitably improved, as well. We’re thrilled to have been able to be provide something aesthetically pleasing and protective simultaneously.

Do you have a window tinting project of your own in mind? We’d love to be able to help you out. FormulaOne By AES can be reached at 405-513-6400 or by clicking here.

LLumar Window Film UV Shield For Trophy Case

Protecting Trophies With Window Film

When you work so hard every day for something and you receive an award, it’s hard not to want to show it off and be proud. It doesn’t matter if you’re a celebrity, an employee of the month, or you work somewhere that receives awards based on the amount of team effort put forth as everyone can appreciate a trophy. With that being said, if you have a display case to put your trophies in wouldn’t you want to protect that case so that your trophies look as nice as the day you first received them? If so, you’re in luck, because with LLumar window film a project like this is possible!

One of FormulaOne’s past projects, in fact, involved wrapping a glass trophy case with window film at American Fidelity Assurance Company. By adding this window film to the glass it made it possible to eliminate most of the glare and heat from the sun shining through the building’s large glass windows. At the same time that the LLumar window film protects the glass trophy case to in turn protect the trophies placed inside, it also allows for clear visibility from the outside.

This is especially important for a company such as American Fidelity Assurance Company, because they thrive on making a difference and maintaining a great reputation and being able to show off their achievements only adds to their ongoing efforts. Everyone who walks by the large trophy case can peer inside and enjoy seeing the trophies inside, but they don’t have the harsh glare of the sun reflecting back at them or blinding them in the eyes. To keep up with the clean, sharp, ultra modern feel of the office there was no better option.

If you have a glass area that you’d like to be protected from ultraviolet rays, FormulaOne By AES would love the opportunity to make it happen for you. We can be reached at 405-513-6400 or you can contact us online by clicking here.

Vista Window Film Used On Bobby Vinton Blue Velvet Theatre

A Case Study: Dayview V45 Window Film

Branson, Missouri is home to live shows, fun attractions, and exciting excursions for visitors to enjoy. One of the most well-known buildings hosting entertainment for over three million visitors per year is the Bobby Vinton Blue Velvet Theatre. The owner, Bobby Vinton, knew that he had a difficult problem with heat, glare, and fading furnishings inside. As visitors increased over the years the solution of adding window film started to become clear as the owners knew they had to provide a more comfortable, glare-free environment.

There are many types of window film, so it took some careful analysis to determine that the best solution would be the series called Vista Dayview V45. This window film allowed for control of the sunlight which would pour into the theatre without compromising the beauty of the building in any way. The awesome part about this window film addition is that it became a part of the building’s arched windows in 1996 and it’s still going strong!

The installation of the Vista Dayview V45 window film was reported to do the following:

  • Immediately reject 45% of total solar energy
  • Reduced light transmission by 54%
  • Decreased the ultraviolet rays by 99%

Since ultraviolet rays are the main reason for fading floor coverings, interior furnishings, and artwork this transformation meant a lot! Bobby Vinton himself quoted “I could not have arrived at a better solution. My Theatre is now comfortable throughout. Moreover, the film has virtually taken away all the glare from reflecting sunlight and is helping to protect our furnishings and the gift shop merchandise from fading.”

How awesome is that? Do you have a home, office, or precious building that you’d like to preserve with the help of window tinting? FormulaOne by AES is local, we used Vista window film and we offer a lifetime transferable manufacturer’s warranty, too!
